Solved: 8 Years, 3 Months, 1 Week ago Getting Amnesia To Play On a Sony Vaio

I've read the guides, I've downloaded drivers, none will install.
I still get the black screen and white dot.

:/
Is there anyway to get this to play on my computer?
My ex got it to play on his crappy emachines laptop, I don't see why it won't work on mine.
