Outside custom story - Need help and hints

so as the title says, i'm developing a custom story which takes place outside in a village
i know there's an entity called block_box, is that an 'invisible wall'? (does it block you)
and do you guys have any hints or so to help me make a good outside story?
one more question :] can you put a custom text on the navigation entities
