Other games/movies like this?

I just ordered 9 movies from the former Swedish director, Ingmar Bergman. I like a lot of his work, more so than American films. I mentioned some time ago that this game reminds me of his work, If you've seen enough of Bergmans work, it's not all cheerful with a happy ending.
In a sense, the Stanley Kubricks "The Shining" is sort of like this game too, again, just the feeling of isolation.

Haha, I was just going to write The Shining I actually haven't seen many of Bergman's movies but yeah, it's not very cheerful
