I also agree with the guys above me. As long as the creator can incorporate the tension and terror before each jump scare, deliver the climatic horror/shit your pants moment, and follow it up with a severely tense, and scary experience for the next few moments, AND repeat this in a unique, more powerful way each time. He/she can put as many jump scares in the story as they wish.
The dificulty is making it unique each time. You don't neccessarily have to make it unexpected, the build up to the jump scare is almost always the best part of horror, and it's perfectly fine not to have the jump scare 'crescendo' at the end, or at least delay it for a while, because the tension and terror is the part which really gets your blood pumping, at least for me anyways.
