Why is Daniel complaining every step of the way?!

Daniel is my fav character from Amnesia and I've never really understood why people like to make fun of him so much, call him a wuss, simple etc. all the time and everywhere. I doubt very much you would be any braver in his situation. =P

Reminds me of a friend who had seen Amnesia videos, had been laughing at people getting scared and then wanted to try it out. During the first couple peaceful rooms and halls she was all like "Lol was this supposed to be a horror game?" and "There's nothing scary in this", but when she reached the archives she just kept corner camping in one room because of some random crackings and wind noises for 5 mins and then quit. I had fun. :---D
