Penumbra collection games barfs on me when attempting to start them

Only files in the subdirectories of .frictionalgames/Penumbra are "hpl.log" and "hpl_update.log".

I switched to "full-screen: false", because resetting the desktop resolution every time I try to start the games was getting on my nerves, so I notice from the size of the spawned window that the changes to settings are getting effect, but I still get the BadLength-message thrown in my face.
