Brand New to scripting!

Ok hey guys, this probably sounds really dumb XD I have created a fairly nice detailed map in the level editor, my question is now, how the hell do I start scripting it? I've done level creation etc before but I've never scripted or programmed anything, if someone could point me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated Smile
