Also, the books Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. Not necessarily the stories themselves, but the original artwork of the books. Those drawings were god damn creepy.
I really liked Alien, and the movie did kinda make me afraid to look in anything bigger than myself. I would always ask before going someplace whether or not the place had loads of ventilation shafts.
