Slow gameplay in Chancel

Is this the first time it happens in the entire game? If that's the case, it may just have been a memory leak (restarting your computer would solve that). It may also be that the electric field is too much for your computer to handle (not really sure it's that graphically or cpu-intensive though). Or, maybe you've been playing for a long time and your CPU/GPU is starting to overheat.
