Solved: 8 Years, 2 Months ago Immediate crash to desktop every time

Hey guys,
any help you can give me would be much appreciated.
I have no idea what else to do. I have tried everything, updating drivers, reinstalling numerous times, messing around with the sound devices, everything that was recommended on here. I just can't get the game to start. Every time I click play it loads up a black screen for about half a second, sometimes no black screen at all, then it crashes to desktop and the blackbox pops up.
Pls let me know whatcha think and if you need anything from me.
