Solved: 8 Years, 2 Months, 1 Week ago [split] Troubleshooting Guide - integrated graphics

Hi, I baught Amnesia from steam and it won't start. I get a crash message saying:

Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module <UNKNOWN> at 0023:00000000

Can anyone tell me what that means and how i might go about rectifying the problem.
