Solved: 8 Years, 2 Months ago EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in Amnesia.exe 0023:004A5838

hey I have just downloaded the game yesterday from steam and was able to play it last night. I boot my computer up this morning and now it will not work. It will be appreciated if someone can help me.
