Flaming/trolling is never cool. I don't give a fuck if you don't like Minecraft, but if you insist on discussing that, at least come with some decent arguments for your views, and we can discuss it properly. Here, I'll start. I think Minecraft is objectively a pretty well-crafted game (holy fuck, worst pun, I'm so sorry), especially considering it was originally a one-man project by a self-taught swede. Personally, I enjoy it very much as both an outlet of creativity and a rather fun adventuring game. Also, exploring all these generated landscapes and vast caverns can be both exhilarating and beautiful, in my opinion. It is in no way perfect, but what is perfect anyway? I think it definitely deserves the spot it got, even though I love Amnesia. It is also, as many here have mentioned before me, a great victory for the indie game industry to have two games on the top of the list.
