Just a prediction, but I think this may be mainly based around the Kaernk, since it does say "something is emerging" and the Kaernk emerges from the water, and if you watch one of their older engine over view videos the map their playing in is called something like "Depth: The Dark Descent" (having to do with water obviously). Also if you look at the picture right it KIND OF looks like the water monster scene... not really, BUT WHATEVER.
