The hell? Can you tell us the exact steps you took to have the luminescent map shut off when you set it unlit? Up to this point, I've had to disregard luminescent maps and try to recreate it by using lights so the glow won't stay. I'd like to know how you got it working.
When you assign a Illumination map to a material that is used on a lamp entity, it should turn of the illumination by itself when the lamp is set to be unlit. However. it does not shut of the Illumination map in the level editor, just ingame.
