i love how threads like this are well accepted here, while the other thread where a guy complained about pewdie stealing the heartbeat monitor idea has been shat all over by members and accused of "pointless thread, not worthy of creating".

Ya know, JUST SAYIN'...

Forum judgment of thread quality is not based on content of thread alone. If a user is well-known positively to a community, there is greater tolerance for the content of the threads they make.

Which is also wrong in my opinion, since everyone should be equal. Just saying, not trying to be hateful or to insult anybody...

It's the difference between these two scenarios:
Your friend comes up to you and yells "Sup whore, had sex with any guys lately?" as a joke.
A random stranger comes up to you and yells "Sup whore, had sex with any guys lately?" as a joke.

There's definitely a big difference and there should be one.
