CreatEntityAtArea irritating

ok so im making a basketball type game, i need to shoot the ball thro this hoop without crossing the line, if i cross the line i get teleported back, what i want to know is how to teleport the ball since most times i miss i cant retreive it i set up a area and the whole addentitycollidecallback ball, area and said createntityat area and made it spawn at the "spawn" area but it wont respawn there any ideas
