A simple white dot is also not the best solution. I just wish to have normal hand icons without the arrows and other things that spoil me how to move/operate objects. I always enjoyed it to feel free when operating a wheel or sth. The arrows looks similar to quick-time-events, where the game shows you the keys you have to press or mouse to shake (like the finger scene in Outlast). That's simply immersion breaking like quest pop-up messages in a RPG.

I hate every kind of casual elements, simplifications and tutorials that tell and force me how I have to play a game.

OMG this is just a minor thing and shouldn't be hard to change.
