Penumbra failing to work

I compiled the code exactly, according to JKO's guide.

When I try to run the exe outside of VC 2008, a "Penumbra.exe has stopped working" pops up.

When attempting to run inside VC 2008, it breaks on the line:

cString::FloatStringToArray(&vRawData[0],pVecText->Value(),lSize * 3);

In the file: MeshLoaderColladaLoader.cpp

Any help with this, would be very, very appreciated.
