Another (Steam) Demo crash-on-launch

I'm experiencing the same problem. I tried downloading the demo from one of the sites, and it crashed on launch. I tried getting it from Steam, and experienced the same thing. I tried downloading it from yet another, different, site, and it still happened.

I receive the error message: "Could not load main init file: config/main_init.cfg"
