Amnesia doesn't save my game

Hello, please help me...Every time I play Amnesia, nothing saves...no files no nothing and it doesn't even save profile...I tried with the patch but still no success....

the same problem. I have a steam version of amnesia, and no matter what i do, it doesn't save my game nor does it create a permanent profile. There is no profile folder in "...\Documents\Amnesia\Main\".
The demo worked fine, there was a profile folder inside it with saves. I've tried to run the game as an administrator but it didn't work.

I use Windows 7 / 64 bit, and my steam files (with games) are on disk f:/
