amnesia, trouble playing

i have the nvidia geforce GTX 550 TI and the drivers are up to date. i dont seem to have an option to set my preferred graphics card as some people do, and i have tried everything in the support guide, i have no clue whats going on, my computer shouldnt have any problems, it's brand new, i bought it 4 months ago, there shouldnt be anything wrong with it. and i cant set my intel card as the main card, i have 2 moniters and the nvidia card runs the other one, i hope maybe someone can help me.
