HELP with ladder

Information HELP with ladder
I am in the tunnel with a hole in the ceiling. I have put the ladder on the hooks and a box under it. However, when I jump I cannot grab the ladder. What am I doing Wrong? Someone please help. I have been working on this for hours.

Spoiler below!
You need to push the big box to the side of the "altar", the elevated point. Then push one or two of the smaller boxes up there and push it on the bigger box. Then jump on them and go up.
