curious if this issue is related to the other.

I've tried setting "Threading = false" which resulted in the game becoming unplayable due to a radical framedrop.

Funny enough, after re-enabling threading, I played the demo without any issues, no hangs, nothing...

My system:
Processor: Intel Core Duo T2000
Chipset: Mobile Intel 945 PM Express Chipset
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (driver: fglrx 8.34.8)
Distro: Ubuntu 7.04 (x86)
Kernel: 2.6.20-16

I've rarly had this error before, but now in the refinery it hangs every time I die. Dammit, really boring to reboot the entire computer every time I die(@steam puzzle).

I've also tried setting "UseThreading=false", but it doesn't have any effect at all, as far as my eyes can see.
