Black screen. Help needed.

Recently got the game, and now, everytime i try to play it, the screen goes black (with exeptions from a white dot in the middle and the notebook icon in the corner. also the text shows. my computer should be able to handle this game fairly easily. ill try to add a picture of it. the sound works, and as i walk around, i can hear my footsteps. the hand appears too, when there is a door/item i can pickup. Please help! ill try to add a picture of how it is. (also its not the brightness of the game (ithink))

Sounds like you have an integrated graphics chip from intel, which is unsupported. But might work if you update the drivers for it.

1. What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Is it a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what model?
3. Attach me here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.

Its an 64-bit system the computer model is a Samsung rv520 laptop, think its an intel graphic card. think i might update the driver.

one question. How come all the other things work, (hand comes up, texts appear, sound is greate) but the rest is dark?
