Game keeps crashing

The game loads up fine but when I load my save it crashes after a few seconds. If I load a save further back then when I get up to the same point the game crashes. It crashes just after I have a flashback about how the zimmermans were all killed at their farm, when the flashback ends the game crashes. The game has crashed before at previous parts but usually when i reloaded it worked fine but this time it always crashes.

pretty sure its not a problem with my graphics - i'm using nvidia 9300M GS and I have forced vsync to be always on.
