Thanks guys for update, but new artifacts appeared after applying the patch. Examples:

And here are examples of artifacts that were not fixed after applying new patch:

The last shot is what I see when I press RMB to examine an object.

"Esc" problem has been solved.
Video - Radeon HD2900XT (Catalyst 7.7). OS - Win XP SP2 x86.

What shader quality are you using?
Did this artefacts only happen after 1.02 patch was applied?
Does it matter if you turn of bloom etc.?

EDIT: I have just tried it in shader quality medium and high, on both vista and XP drivers and cannot reproduce. Need to get more info and then I can check it out some more.

RE: Windows update 1.0.2 released
Thomas, I'm using High shader quality.
The artifacts on first 3 screenshots (dancing textures) appeared after applying patch 1.02.
The artifacts on screenshots #4,5 encountered before patch 1.02 was applied in both 1.00 and 1.01 versions of Penumbra, and still present.
Strange thing: the higher shader quality the less artifacts with "dancing textures".
If I turn off Depth Of Field option the RMB bug (screenshot #5) disappears.
Other options does not matter. If I set shader quality to Very Low, all artifacts disappear, but the game looks awful.

Could you try some older drivers and see if there are any effects?

I will do some more check over the weekend or on monday if I can reproduce it with other drivers.

It is very very strange, it works on so many systems now that I have a hard time seeing what it can be.

How does Doom 3 work for you? Or any other OpenGL based game?
