RE: Screenshot criticism thread

It looks good to me, billboard looks natural imo : >.
Can't say much more because it's basically a dark screenshot of a dark room. Kind of hard to give good advice when I can't see anything. Don't you have screenshots with light ;3 ?

Or maybe it's just my monitor, i don't know : <.

Thank you Romulator for the spoiler thing! Smile

I think it looks alright for someone with so little experience. But keep up the work and strive for the perfect maps and you'll go far Smile

Maybe it's just me, but the hallway with shelves on the left, castle door at the end, castle window with strong light at the right reminds me too much of the original Castle Hall. Same layout, same assets, same lighting, nearly the same furniture ^^'...

It looks good though : >.

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

Good luck with that !
I still like the lighting/display, it's a very cool area you got there : >. But yeah, I think you should change something to make it more "personal", even if the similarities were accidental ^^.

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

I think the billboard looks a little too extreme, and fit the spotlight quite poorly in terms of direction and generally blending together.
If you really want to keep them that strong, I would suggest you add some less powerful rays around the strong ones to blend it a bit more together, and also make sure to color the overall lighting of the room so it reacts as if the rays are as strong as they look.
