This is how it looks in HPL level editor.

I doubled the walls btw

I am currently making the next room

It's only if you want to see the failures in the floor, that you see them Wink
Put some carpets in there. It will both create variation and color-changes to make it look nicer and less empty.

Trying is the first step to success.

Sorry to just jump in here....

Yeah, I know I need some more detailing, but right now, I would like some criticism on lights, billboards, angle, setting and well, if it looks alright Tongue Excuse the "Amnesia - The Dark Descent" thing. Was using puush, and didn't want to make it look all too beautiful when it isn't done! Click on them for a larger resolution!

Longer or smaller ones?

And what kind of carpet for the bedroom?

In static_objects ==> ornaments or planes?

Static objects.
I suggest 1 and 2 for rooms.

3 and 4 for corridors. Remember you can scale them. But don't scale a carpet too much on one side. It'll look weird.

I suggest maybe moving the bed a little away from the wall and then put a scaled carpet under it.

Looks good, except for the crack-decal on the second picture. Remove those, they don't look good anywhere...

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

You can change the carpet size by scaling, it doesn't matter what carpet you use, it's your opinion, but don't use the square carpets to narrower corridors, or don't scale them like you do with other carpets, keep it in more squared shape, otherwise it looks weird imo.

EDIT: Damn you're fast posters!

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

so first image is the exterior, second is the interior, both shots are from recently recovered mod I was working on in 2012- no changes have been made.

something feels off, like they aren't the same- the interior feels bigger than the exterior, but I need that level of detail (aka that size) to really sell that it's a church- how i do dis? any tips?
