If you have WinRar, right click the .exe you downloaded (SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0017.exe) and select WinRar>Extract to folder SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0017.

3)Go into Device Manager (right click My Computer or though the control panel).
4)Click Sound Devices (or similar) and then select the Audity card.
5)Go to the tab labeled "Drivers"
6)Click "Update Drivers" and then select "Browse my computer for drivers"
7)Click "Search for driver software in this location" and check Include Subfolder and browse to the folder SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0017.

Let it install them this way.

Well, I couldn't install it using that way, so I opened up the .exe again, and it said that the update was already installed, even though it never did leave the Updating Windows Driver screen, so I restarted my computer, and Amnesia worked :o

Thanks pluto Big Grin

Well it took 42 posts but the problem is finally fixed.

However, if the problems start again you must either format your computer or buy a new one since there won't be any driver updates for this card.

Alright, thanks. I plan on getting a new computer by the end of May, but I can't last without Amnesia for that long D:

It can play Amnesia? Doesn't it have an ATI x600? Even if it runs, it must be very slow. Well, unless you have updated your graphics card...

The one I currently have, yes it has an ATI X600, and yes it runs pretty slow... The new computer I'm going to be getting has an AMD HD 6000 Series video card.

If it is a desktop then ok but if it is a laptop be careful: laptop AMD cards do not run OpenGL games and the work has to be done with the weak Intel HD cards.

Thus, I always recommend Nvidia for OpenGL gaming.

It is a desktop, so I think I'm good

Yeah, I know NVIDIA is better, but ATI is cheaper Tongue I think this computer that I will hopefully be getting will suffice for a few years.
