i have seen all the threads. i just cant seem to fix it. as my question isnt the same.. i tried updating the drivers etc.. something must have gone wrong. Sad il post a screen shot along with my system info.)
note that when i start a game. i can hear everything around me, and can pick up objects. i just cant see them
any help would be much appreciated!!

another thing. when i quit the game the black box posts this warning:

This card is not supported. It actually always cannot start the game. Are you sure you have a Windows Operating System? We need more info.

1. What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Is it a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what model?
3. Attach me here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.

Normally with this card the game crashes from start and not at the end. It seems that this previous driver was somehow able to run the game a little-bit. Interesting...

ok. so i updated it, everything went well. but the game menu still pixelates. exept now it just looks like a huge bar code. another thing. all of the loading screens look normal, as well as the logos at the start of the game.. also when i start a game the screen is no longer pixelated. just black. i can also see my corsair
forgot to mention.. the blackbox error report has changed.. il write it below
amnesia.exe has caused an EXEPTION_ACESS_VIOLATION in module amesia.exe(this was previosly un"unknown, and nothing was displayed in the stack trace, whereas not it says"

Ha! Now we are one step further than getting this game working on the Mobile Intel 4 Chipset... Big Grin

1) Go to Intel graphics control panel, find the 3d settings and see if there is anything opengl related there. Tell me if there is any. Maybe triple buffering can help...
2) Can I see the HPL.log again to verify that the update was done?

Intel states btw that: Intel® 4 Series Express Chipsets support OpenGL version 2.0 and some
extensions from OpenGL 2.1 (Pixel Buffer Objects) and OpenGL 3.0 (Frame
Buffer Objects, floating point textures and half float pixels).
