People really don't read before posting. Googoplex, this was already mentioned on the previous page ^^'

I'm thinking the locations are clues, wether they'll eventually be coordinates or if the game will take place in several locations, is another question. I do have to say though I'd love to be fleeing from a Kaernk inside of an old torn down asian temple. Mmmmm~

But really easy to look over. And I can't read anything about sharpened image.
The game in more locations? I think this wouldn't be a good idea.
How gets the protagonist to the places? By horse, 5.000 miles away?

Having a section of the game spent of for example a ferry or steamboat would be amazing if you ask me. They're obviously working on expanding the engine for outside areas and such, so if it's a new title on the new engine I think they could pull several locations off very nicely.

Yes, but is how credible is that?

We have to know in what time the game is.

Or did the player ride by horse 5.000 miles to get to an other place?

What i've gathered so far about Boreray;

Scottish Island?
Fairly small
Small population
Contains some sort of lake/reservoir?

I'll look into the history of the island, and myths, links with anything else etc.

EDIT: Wikipedia says...

Gaelic name Boraraigh
Meaning of name "Fort island", from Norse

Area 86 ha (0.33 sq mi)[1]
Area rank 155=
Highest elevation Mullach an Eilein 384 m (1,260 ft)

Population 0
Population rank 0 out of 99

"Boreray boasts the Cleitean MacPhàidein, a "cleit village" of three small bothies used on a regular basis during fowling expeditions from Hirta.[6] As a result of a smallpox outbreak on Hirta in 1724, three men and eight boys were marooned on Boreray until the following May.

Here too are the ruins of Taigh Stallar (the steward's house), which was similar to the Amazon's house in Gleann Mòr, Hirta although somewhat larger, and which had six bed spaces. The local tradition was that it was built by the "Man of the Rocks", who led a rebellion against the landlord's steward.[6] It may be an example of an Iron Age wheelhouse and the associated remains of an agricultural field system and two additional possible settlement mounds were discovered in 2011. RCAHMS surveyor Ian Parker said: “This new discovery shows that a farming community actually lived on Boreray, perhaps as long ago as the prehistoric period. The agricultural remains and settlement mounds give us a tantalising glimpse into the lives of those early inhabitants. Farming what is probably one of the most remote – and inhospitable – islands in the North Atlantic would have been a hard and gruelling existence. And given the island’s unfeasibly steep slopes, it’s amazing that they even tried living there in the first place.”

The name Amnesia normally is connected to dark underground locations, I hope, the next Amnesia won't be completely outdoor. Some outdoor parts like Penumbra are good, but not too much.

I mean, it isn't scary outdoor.

I dunno man. I think they can pull it off... better than seeing the same dingy corridors all the time.
