Custom Stuff

Hello ,

i have a question.

I want to Import Custom Models into Amnesia, just some Static stuff like Statues ... but i dont now how?!

I created a model in a 3d programm, exportet it to .dao (or dae i dont remember) .
Then i importet it into the model editor ( i saw it there ) then i made it into a entity and put it in a separate folder in "entitys" but when i want to use them, i click on the folder in level editor and level editor crashes!

need really help , and also sorry for my bad english!

RE: Custom Stuff

If it's static and your not going to active or inactivate the things you don't have to use the model editor, you just need to use the material editor to make a .mat file Smile

RE: Custom Stuff

The model can not read the directory of the texture(s). Open the model in the 3D program and re-apply the texture that it has in the "entities" folder and export over the previous .dae (this is redirecting the image the simple way). Then open the .mat in the material editor and find the texture(s) again, save, overwrite, and you should be good.

Also, if it is in the "entities" folder, it needs a .ent. the entities folder cannot place .dae like the "static_objects" folder.
