A proper site that could rate maps and sort them by genre and ranking would be great. How that would be done tough is another problem.

Personally I enjoy playing a "WTF" map a little now and then. But I do agree that there are way too many of those and too few actual stories. And a lot of the "stories" being released are just a heap of PDP references and jumpscares. Not really a lot of play-trough value for anyone else than PDP... If even he really likes to see the same thing over and over.

I agree with pretty much everything in this post, except that i don't find the simple maps to be pointless. Just overdone.

Btw. Anyone else who on youtube who's getting really tired of people always having to leave references in the comments? "OOOHHH THERE'S STEPHANO BBLAGHATTVVXX!!1!11!!11"
*sigh*

You're one of my favourite Amnesia youtubers, aren't you?

Moderators don't have the ability to create forums.
Could you sticky a thread?

I could, but my moderating experience tells me that just because a lot of people agree with a topic, doesn't make a topic eligible for being stickied.

understandable.

though you have to agree with me, the stories being made nowadays are quite ridiculous.

Wasn't the "Modern Custom Story List" stickied though? This seems like a thread for successful stories would get more attention, as well as open the possibilities for other work to get noticed, as it is not only limited to those stories which are modern.

I wasn't the one that stickied that thread. If you want a thread stickied, convince another moderator to do so.

While I agree, I don't think this topic should get stickied either, because the original post is simply a strong opinion of how custom stories should be done. Stickying it would be like FG saying that they shun half the modding community. Would the post have been more constructive, it would make a better case for being stickied.
