This is really neat. I downloaded it and will see if it'll work for my story. It's practically exactly what i need! I'll also be sure to give you a special spot in my credits =P.

Quick question however, what did you use to make this. I'm rather interested in making my own custom models/enemies. I really think that the animation part could be fun =D

I made it with Autodesk Maya 2011. It is fun animating but it is also pretty tiresome.

Thanks!
And yea, I bet it is. It has always been a hobby of mine to do stuff like this, but I never got into making cool things like that. Now that I know, hopefully I can learn some what soon and be able to make things like this. My only issue, is I lack the ability to make things look realistic. =P But I'll try my best. Thanks again!

What most people don't seem to realise is that 3D modeling is not something you learn over night, I've been modeling for three years now and I'm still nowhere near a pro level.

You're going to need to have serious interest and alot of patience to learn modeling.

This. I recently attended a 3ds Max course my University had, and it took the teacher the entire semester to teach all the default, and fundamental basics of the program.

I know what you're saying and I'm completely aware of what I'm doing. I'm taking the second part of a 3-D animation class as well as online courses this summer. While I have very little knowledge of it, I still know how to make a basic model. I never got much into it thought until now, which I'm looking for a good software. I like the looks of maya but the 30 day trial won't last as long as I want it to, since I will be using it for all sorts of things. Sadly though, I don't qualify for that educational program so I can't get it that way either. Leaves me kinda in a stuck position. I'm currently using blender which works, but I just got and started using it, so I'm still figuring out the interface and controls of it. Heh, I'm trying to do too much at once here. scripting, custom models, java code, map making, work, classes, and of course, learning everything involved with those. I doubt if I get to any kind of animation however until school starts back up again and I get into that class to learn the more advanced things like this.

So much to do, so little free time.
