Absolute Wuss
I created an account just to post this, and post in other topics of course. Amnesia is my first horror game, and I can't even walk halfway through the room that had the grunt inside it in the demo! And of course like Daniel I like to crunch on chips when scared. (lies) So, just wondering, is there a way to be less scared of this game? (walkthroughs won't cut it, most of them are too dark.) Although the game so far hasn't scared me to nightmare status, then again, my big bro said it's not scary enough to give me nightmares. (After he played the entire demo at night with all the lights off with headphones!)

That was only the demo...The full version is much more scarier and you can play custom stories made by other people(like me Big Grin).

Is there a way to be less scared of horror games?
Is there a way to be less turned on by porn?
Is there a way to be less excited about action movies?
Is there a way to not enjoy music?

Also, do you realize that this is a Mature rated game? While your older brother may be old enough to play this game, are you?

Yes I do realize this is a Mature rated game. I played Resident Evil 4, and loved it. In reply to your "Is there" questions,
#1: Not sure, that's why I'm asking.
#2: Not sure, never watched any.
#3: Yes.
#4: Yes.

Since you've never watched porn, be aware that there's penises and lots of torture in this game. You might want to ask your parents for permission first.

Yes I am aware of that, I'm just not into porn. Get a little close to watching it but I always don't get a good feeling. Now lets keep this on topic: I'm also a sucker for creation and stuff. And the editor looks really nice. 1 of the few reasons I want this game.

You're probably aware of this but it's not necessary. My own feelings on ratings aside, they are not law. Buying M rated games is not illegal if you're underage and you don't need permission from your parents to play them (but don't hide it from them explicitly if they forbade you, because that never works out). Only AO games are strictly illegal to sell or expose to minors, and no game is AO because it kills sales.

Also there is a huge difference between pornography and nudity. In fact I'm certain nudity is only really taboo in the U.S (not exactly but it's irrelevant; compared to many countries in Europe it certainly is handled a different way). You don't exactly show porn to children because it sometimes contains a lot of information that a child can't interpret correctly but non-erotic nudity is totally harmless... That being said I fully agree it's not a good idea to play this game if you're too young; it deals with some pretty adult themes and is probably too heavy for someone 15 or younger.

I know you see some old guy floating naked I'm fine with it. (Quite creepy but I'm fine with it.) Now enough of the nudity and porn stuff please, I want to keep this on topic.

Wait sorry, didn't see you were talking to someone else, but still. Refer to my last comment.

At this point I'm just bailing out of this conversation, because you are attracted to the level editor, while not wanting to play scary games, and you're a minor, which personally just spells disaster to me. The next thing I know, you'll be making flying Jesuses. I'm not at peace in this topic.
