Need more corpses D:

I saw a lot of people requesting, and I would also need more kind of corpses for my custom story. Like more male corpses in clotches and female corpses. I've been searching for long hours but i didn't find anything useful.

I don't know about male corpses in clothes, but I think I saw one in "White Night".

Dunno about female corpses, though.

There should be enough male corpses... I don't understand why you need more.

As for female corpses, I suggest they stay covered AT LEAST on the bottom half. If you're going to have nudity, keep it tasteful. We don't need pornos in custom stories. Nor is it exactly socially acceptable to have naked women lying around. If you're going to have nude women, I believe rules are okay regarding breasts, but if you find something, keep the genitalia covered please.

I've been staring at the screen and thinking about that sentence for about five minutes now, but I still can't figure out why naked women should be less tasteful than naked men. I mean, if you think nudity should be avoided in games in general, fair enough, but why the difference between men and women? o.O

...only reason I could maybe think of is that there could be a certain young, male demographic that's probably also playing Amnesia and that might find it entertaining to do very immature things with a naked female model. But seriously, who cares? If I got upset about every immature person on the internet, I'd just be making myself miserable Smile

Problem with clothed corpses is, if you make a pile of them, it is much more apparent that they are all the exact same model. I mean, starved, shaved and naked male adults can look pretty similar, especially if you can't see their faces but ten dead guys who just happen to wear the exact same pants and shirts? I feel my suspension of disbelief crumbling away there! Big Grin

Besides, making them naked was probably an artistic choice on Frictionals part, to show the utter disrespect Alexander has for his victims and human dignity in general.

I think there are atleast 1 or 2 dressed corpses in Penumbra: Black Plague, and I believe one of them is a female. I do think you'd need to convert them for Amnesia though.

I don't have a single problem with nudity for either sex. I can handle it quite maturely. But unfortunately, MANY are not the same. Frictional had a reason for their male nudity and that was to show the tortured behavior of Alexander and his servants. They made them look starved and almost "unappealing". What I meant by "tasteful" was basically like saying, I don't want a completely nude model of a female to come out and the first thing to happen is to see her spread eagle or something along those lines. If she were put in torture chambers and in the appearance fitting the same environment (i.e. starving, tortured, unclean), I'd be completely fine with it. Frictional kinda did what I liked with the Angel statue. She was nude, yes, but her legs are crossed to keep it "appropriate" (You know... Excluding the naked male corpses). Her pose was nice as well. This is what I consider "in-good-taste". For some reason, society has always had this moral of, boys are okay to be naked, but not girls. I mean, even in cartoons, a boy could run on screen showing his butt or something. But not ONE TIME was a girl in the same situation. And at this age... I can understand why. For some reason, naked male = funny. naked women = fap.

Just with past experiences of the maturity in some of the forum, and just the world in general... I couldn't see a nude model of a female going... Well.

But I would like someone to prove me wrong.
