It was. I just found it interesting that they were introduced into the universe as nothing other than evil brainwashed servants (The prominent Rahi anyways) when they were actually just animals.

I think I see your point, that it "dehumanized" them. A word which I use loosely, for obvious reasons.

I think it did a good job of illustrating just how much danger the Toa were facing: An enemy that could take any shape or form, and could have a presence in any place, at any time. Could do anything, and until the end of MTOG he was SOO MYSTERIOUS.
