Some files were not loaded

Yea i get the message: "Some files were not loaded" when i open a map, with some custom files in it. Will this happen everytime, or can i do something?
It is really annoying!

Trying is the first step to success.

RE: Some files were not loaded

I need more details, please. Also, do those files show up? Maybe you don't have them in the right place.

RE: Some files were not loaded

They are in my custom story folder.
What kind of details do you need?

I put them in my map. Save. Then i close level editor. When i load it a couple of days after, some files are missing

Only in your CS folder? Then put them in the entities-static_objects in a folder like:

entities/Disgressiophobia-what-about-mark

It's that CS, right? Wink

The level editor doesn't check in the CS's folder for resources, so you should always put everything you have in the entities/static_objects folder.

But when i publish the game, wont it then be searching there, instead of the custom story?

RE: Some files were not loaded

I think what you're experiencing is that in the "resources.cfg" file, you haven't added the "custom_stories" directory.

Do that if you haven't.

Isn't the error like "File index out of bounds"?

RE: Some files were not loaded

So when making custom content, I have to put all custom content in for example: amnesia/entities, instead of amnesia/custom stories/<name>/entities? These specific files would be used in the level editor. Specifically, a grunt with modified a modified .ent file. Is there any easier way to do this? I think the grunt is like 25MB in size, and making people DL that just for a small .ent file change kinda sucks.

Like I said, you need to add the "custom_stories" subdirectory in the "resources.cfg" file. If the issue is what I think it is.

What Nemet said. There's no need to duplicate folders or models.
