UTF-8 in .lang

Yes I know there was other threads about it, but I didn't understand the answer they got.

What do i have to do, to encode my .lang file to UTF-8 so i can have Æ, Ø and Å in my CS?

RE: UTF-8 in .lang

Choose "save as" instead of "save".

Googol... It's a code format, not a file extension.

RE: UTF-8 in .lang

Oh... I'm not sure what to google.
Ill try.

I found YC's Youtube video. I understand it now Smile

Still my custom story cannot be with ÆØÅ because the original .lang is not in UTF-8 i guess

RE: UTF-8 in .lang

Did you figure it out yet, or do you still need help in changing the document to UTF-8 for the text editor you're using?

I believe i got it. My Custom story description works with ÆØÅ, though the name doesn't. I guess it's because it uses the .lang from the original game

You only need to open the .lang file using Windows standard text editor and then "save as" and change it to UTF-8. That's what I've said.

I'm using Geany Wink I can just select "File encoding" and then choose it
