Controlling skybox [SOLVED]

Hi.

I just read about how to make a skybox, and it looks like it is mostly coded into the editor.
Is it the void that becomes the skybox?

I was thinking if it was possible to have a small area be a part of the skybox.

What i want is to have a picture, that is the skybox. It's like a 3D picture.
Is it possible?

Trying is the first step to success.

RE: Controlling skybox

A skybox is basically six images, placed (by the engine) like a box around the map. Your question sort of confuses me.

RE: Controlling skybox

I guess it isn't possible then Wink I worked once with another engine (Hammer) where you chose where the skybox should be, by placing planes with the skybox texture, covering the whole level. I was hoping that it was possible somehow to put 1 "skybox-plane" on a picture-frame and then make it 3D like...

Trying is the first step to success.
