RE: "The most exciting RPG games you've ever played"-thread

I think Runescape is my number one (MMO)RPG I've ever played.

That game did have an impact on my life. The game improved my typing skills with computer keyboards and is one of the first online multiplayer games I played in my life.

I don't play it too much these days but it's nice to go back and see what new adventures await.

RPG is arguably most characterized by explicitly turn-based combat with some sort of leveling system alongside third-person role playing. Age of swords and magic and dynamic storyline are not necessary.

Mine was the second one... The third game seems to have been made by lazy devs... too much was cut off. There were nearly no conversations whit the crew in comparison to the other games. They focused too much on Cerberus instead of the reapers. there were a lack of extra missions. and most of the crew from ME2 aren't even usable party members which is bullshit. (and not to mention the ending fiasco)

Overall Mass effect was a great game... Gameplay wise was fairly good in comparison whit the others. But in actual role-playing the previous ones were better.

Oh cool, does that mean I can to shove a chili up your ass? Since, you know, we're being assholes now.

In other news, Bioware games are grand. And I still play Runescape, without regret.

EDIT: Oh, you want something meaningful in this post?

I almost forgot about Runescape. I guess it slipped my mind because my fond memories have been replaced by the Squeal of Fortune and the cancellation of Stellar Dawn.

*jimmierustle*

But yeah, I spent a good 5 years on it before that time. Good stuff, good stuff.

I tend to take long breaks from Runescape so every time I come back something has changed and I have to spend a ton of time getting used to it again. (My username is Rigi Chan, I think.)

My most favorite RPG game is Chrono Cross. 45+ different characters, over 10 different endings. Epic storyline, breaking of the fourth wall in one ending.

I'm salivating, wanting to play that game again. ;_;
