Yes, buy it now. AAMFP will be improved in alot of ways, so if you play AAMFP now and TDD later, TDD might seem like a worse game.

Go to the Frictional Games' Store and buy the game!

EDIT: You have been temporarily banned for the straight piracy suggestion.

Not cool dude. I've got nothing against the decisions you make based on your own personal convictions but to actually go to an indie developer's website and recommend that people pirate their game is beyond low.

Correct. But if Amnesia would have DRM, I would say he has right.
But Amnesia doesn't have DRM and the devs are really talented (almost the best in the world) and they should get praised for their awesome work! To buy Amnesia is not like lose the money!!!

So, he should get a temp ban for the post.

He has absolutely no right under any circumstances to pirate the game, although I guess there are a few impossible edge cases like receiving a faulty product and the company refusing to replace or refund the it. Even so, that should optimally be settled with a lawsuit rather than a false sense of entitlement. It is infringing on the copyrights of the company and if you feel comfortable doing that go ahead, but at least be honest about it. If they want to impose DRM protection on their customers that is their choice, also cracks and other forms of circumventing DRM are legal in practice.

You may want to check out the Steam Store, games are often reduced there. But even if not, TDD has a very reasonable price and it's definitely worth buying.
