This is the first completed track of WIWWM's Frozen Spirits project. Had a blast writing this and am mostly pretty satisfied with how it turned out. I'm currently working on the transcription for this, it should be done tomorrow.

having seen how horizon played out (i was never really part of it but i was in the skype calls, heard a lot of the plans, saw it develop and everything) coupled with how large scale projects, even without the added difficulty of having to manage a group, usually go for amnesia the chances of this really ever happening are pretty slim to none.

Composed a short piece that will serve as a mood-setter for the starting area in Frozen Spirits. "Awakening" is just a working title and not a very imaginative one at that (it's supposed to play the moment the player wakes up).

I really enjoyed your first sample, it made me think of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. That's a great thing, by the way.

Composed a short piece for solo violin as per JAP's request.

I think you could achieve a more realistic sound by upping both the attack and the release on the sampler device for the slower bits, it gives a neat kind of legato flow to string instruments from what I've tried. Great piece anyway, I admire that you refrain from overly repetitive motifs/themes like a lot of other musicians here seem to get hung up with.

It definitely makes a lot of sense to do that in this context but for some reason it makes these samples sound even less realistic. Honestly I think they sound pretty acceptable as is, it's no substitute for a real violin but the reverb (I'm worried it may be too thick actually) compensates for that adequately. Thanks for listening and taking the time to post anyway, I appreciate it.
