RE: Many Hands - A Community Mapping Project

I did some experimenting... This was originally supposed to be a little bit more realistic area, with climbing puzzles and fun stuff but, uhm, well... it's almost 5am and I got a little creative.
Spoiler below!

I'm probably going to redo this entire area seriously when I can use my 8 hours properly. In the mean time, enjoy the work of a sleep-deprived, exhausted person who spent the last 10 days babysitting at a zoo.

You can make the particles really strong colours by making the values >1, only works if the alpha is <1 though.

Oh, and Psyched, just by starting the map using a specific base, you've already set a theme technically. I'm just stubborn and I'll do anything to avoid the cellar/dungeon sets XD

G'night forum!

Just a question, isn't this map getting too large?

off-topic:
Spoiler below!
What you do at the zoo Kiandra? cause i may hate zoos a little too much. (for enslaving animals).

RE: Many Hands - A Community Mapping Project

EDIT: I'm taking the map again. I can't let the room stay like that.

The map's size is fine. It's not even slowing down my crap computer.

Off topic:
Spoiler below!

I wa using zoo as a hyperbole - we have an event called Stampede where people compete in old country stuff like barrel racing, chuck wagons, calf roping, etc. there's also rides, they set up roller coasters and stuff, concerts every night, and kids events. I had the great "fortune" of working in the agricultural building, which involved teaching kids about what plants need to grow. The job was basically planting seeds, cleaning up messes, fixing broken computers and babysitting when parents decided to sleep on the benches in the building.

On the topic of zoos, however, I think the one where I live is - was - pretty decent. There was a flood and it wrecked most of the buildings and enclosures :/ It's rather sad because most of the animals were born in captivity, so they wouldn't know how to survive in the wild. They're being kept in people's homes at the moment, the larger ones were transferred to other zoos for safe-keeping. The ones in homes will follow soon.

Regardless, I'm not hunting down animals and shoving them in cages - or promoting it - so there's no need to shoot the messenger :p

Sorry I'm late, here's the map. Didn't re-number it because I didn't add anything - well, not really. I'll continue work on that room next time I get a chance. Probably not tomorrow.

I'm going to leave this be for a while, my CS is suffering from negligence :p

You should add something!
