RE: Urgent! Answer!

Floppy disks? Mmm, sure. You would need approximately 3472 standard 1.44MB floppy disks for that. CDs? Just 8.

Sorry for being sarcastic but after seeing floppy disks I couldn't resist. At GOG, it says 4.9GB so if you manage to download it, you will have just 5GB left for the rest of the month. Amnesia is an online-purchasable game but there was also a DVD release. Maybe there will be a boxed DVD version for the pigs as well.

Also, don't add the word Urgent to every thread you make.

We don't know yet. I have asked and will let you know when I get a reply.

Update: There won't be a DVD release.

You can perhaps take an USB stick or similar and go to a place with a public internet and/or a paid internet where you can download the game to the USB stick and then bring home with you.

Thank you very much, nice idea, but if I want to put the downloaded game on a CD just to copy and paste? If I can not I burn it? How?

Sorry, my question is this, how do I burn the game? Sorry for the way I talk, but I'm Italian

RE: Pigs at DVD?

A decade ago my internet subscription was also capped at 10Gb per month. Back then this was already quite strict, with the whole family having an average usage of 5-7Gb per month, there wasn't much room for downloads.
I can imagine that he cannot download 5Gb of data as that would mean the whole family won't be able to properly internet for perhaps a whole month just to get a game. With Youtube and all it's probably even harder now than it was a decade ago.

I agree with previous post probably the easiest way would be to lend a USB stick and go to some place (like a friend or public internet) where you can download it and then bring it home.

CD's will be too small, they can only fit 700Mb and a rewritable DVD might be just marginally too small aswell. USB sticks have 8Gb to 32Gb capacity nowadays Smile
