Woah woah, reinstalling the game for something that works in another one of my maps? Nope!
I can work around this

The problem isn't just in his computer or game, it's something in that map that makes the rain invisible when you're watching from another angle. It works in other maps, but not this one for some reason.

Oh sorry I understod it like it was all maps! My bad! Smile

Then try this! Remove the rain and then mark every single thing on the map, then hit "export session". Now create a new map and import the section there and place out the rain again! Smile

Or:

By what I have seen, when people make rain, they usually put lots of rain particles. Maybe the game is getting confused with this, try making your rain a lot smaller and then duplicating it.

Define making the rain smaller. It's a particle system. I don't think it reacts to scaling.

Oh, it's true... then I'm clueless, I'm sorry Sad

I see you have your ambient light, it can cause bugs when conflicting with other BoxLights, so try playing with the BoxLights.

But, well... no idea, I'm sorry.

RE: Rain being a douche

Guys! We solved it!

It WAS in fact the fog! You were right, Chaser, but not in the right way Smile

When i delete the fog, the rain comes back... problem is, that we also need the fog...

Here is the problem!

If the fog 'end' is lower than 17 the rain disappears!

Mine was at 15. We had a map where it was 30. That's why it worked there!

Ok actually, since it's outside a window, it must be much larger than 17. 30+ for me

Trying is the first step to success.

If it's a single particle and the fog has culling, that might be the problem. Try making 4 FogAreas with the same settings, but having none touching the particle system (The PS letters at the center).

2 Fog Area at the sides, and 2 at the front and back.

What does culling mean?
I just raised the end. It worked fine
