Well, today's sales just came out, and here's my list of temptations from priority high to low

1. Witcher 2 (Should I play the first?)
2. Antichamber
3. Tomb Raider
4. Shadow Warrior

Anyone have anything to tell me on any of them?

Tomb raider is a great game. I already have it on xbox but I plan to buy it on PC sometime. I have shadow warrior, but I haven't played it yet.

In my opinion Tomb Raider is a terrible game - The Witcher 2 I thought was pretty good. I actually haven't gotten that far yet and kind of gave up on it but I really enjoyed it and thought it was much better than the first. Don't know if you need to play the first to understand the second but I dislike the first game. Don't know about the others.

I`m getting the DayZ Alpha and DeusEx directors cut for fun, and then probably a handfull of "under 10 bucks" games for my research library.

I've bought myself DayZ, been playing alot, never played the mod.

I'm having fun, but man am I getting pissed off about constnatly getting screwed over by the game.

Can't find items because of already looted servers, combat simply doesn't work due to latency and the game being in alpha and all, it kind of runs really badly.

I have over 40 hours in DayZ standalone already and I haven't noticed any major gamebreaking bugs.

Both are good games. I started with TW2, fell in love and ended up playing the first and reading all books. The first game has generally better atmosphere imo, but combat is quite horrifying. Full combat rebalance mod helps a bit though. It's not necessary to play them in order.

After they fix some bugs, I'm really hoping DayZ takes some things from my favorite parts of the custom mods Epoch and Breaking Point and adds fort creation and unique zombies. Right now the zombies are just inconveniences, not a conflict. Though I'm glad they're not unrealistically fast and twitchy anymore. That was my biggest complaint.

Bleh nothing that interests me on sale today.

EDIT: AMFP is on sale today though, so if anyone doesn't have it yet, it'd be a good time to grab it!

EDIT2: On second thought, may look into Contagion. I really enjoyed Zombie Panic Source back in the day.
