I died the first time I tried distracting the Brute guarding the Sewer exit, when I came back he was still there guarding it.

It takes 3 or 4 deaths before the monsters despawn. Possibly, if he'd killed you a few more times, he'd cease to exist

What did you try? Because he certainly does.

If he has a path assigned, he will despawn when reaching the end IF the player is far enough away (specified in the entity).

Also if the player dies, he most likely will disappear unless re-enabled.

Brute, Grunt, Suitor are the same monsters, entities and they are not different from eachother except the sounds, textures, damage etc...

they shouldn't be different from despawning, maybe you have to go much far away from it

i meant if i keep dieing the brute still guards the ladder and doesnt despawn

it spawns again each time i climb ladder, then i wait until it gone, i climb down the ladder and climb up again. Basically it spawns all over again each time i climb ladder.
