So I bought the game, because a friend asked me to and he wants me to stream it on Twitch.

Shall I leave a notice when I'm streaming tonight?

I bought the game too. It's half broken.

You can't do full screen mode (Although there is kind of a fix)
You cannot hear the breathing of the animatronics (So basically you can't even pass night 1).

I have not played the game, but on the store's Steam page Scott has posted this regarding the breathing:

Quote:Hi guys, there has been some confusion about how the breathing mechanic works, and I wanted to clarify. When you first open a door, listen for at least 3 or 4 seconds before deciding whether to close the door or use the light. If you close the door with an animatronic at the far end of the hall, they will get closer and jumpscare you when you open it and turn on the light.

This game can't be played as fast as previous games, and taking time to listen for the breathing before closing the door is crucial, as closing it too soon will bring something bad to your door!

Doesn't it spoil the fun if they give out the game mechanics? It makes it more like just a "go-here-do-that" game instead of an experience imo.

Well, some FNAF fans will angrily give Scott crap for not explaining mechanics in a straight-forward way. Since it's just released, Scott would be most active around now. (WORST CASE SCENARIO) If he didn't do this the game would have suffered loss of points from reviews saying the rules are 'vague'. Dodgy

That piece of information was not actually part of the store page initially. It was posted by Scott just today. I assume he only did it because there were a great deal of people who were extremely confused as to how this mechanic worked and could not progress.

Sure it's fun to figure out things for yourself, but my guess is that the ratio here of people who eventually understood and those who never could was leaning so far in one direction that Scott realized it might be something he needed to come out and address.

He explained the breathing mechanics. I'm on night 3.

So? I don't mind that, heard that it's going to be free anyway.

I played the game yesterday, and it took me a bit to realize that you need to wait a second or two to hear the breathing if they're at the door.

I ended my stream last night on Night 3, and so far I like the game. Just getting a bit annoyed with dying a lot, but that's expected.
